Day 2: Wow, this is painful

December 19th, 2009

. . . and time consuming.  I started this blog for two reasons:

1. Need for a wedding website to provide information to our guests

2. Need for an outlet for all the thoughts, questions, musings, and activities that for now sit scattered around my home, haunting me.  I wanted expression, dialogue, answers or just empathy.

I’m not sure why I feel a blog will provide me with this, but apparently 70 million people (estimated number of blogs worldwide) share my sentiments.

I’m facing the reality of my decidedly non-techy brain.  This is so CRAZY ANNOYING!  I know what I want to say, and I know what I want to see, but I have to learn this damn programming sh** to get it to show up.  Man, I seriously do not have time for this BUT I’m too stubborn to quit.  Story of my life.

If I were happy with ordinary content and themes, it would be OK, but when design is part of your life and expression, it’s frustrating not to be able to alter it in the way you wish.
